Stewards

Stewards are the backbone of our festival. They are the volunteers who help set up the festival site, keep it clean and make sure all goes smoothly over the weekend for visitors.

We have a group of volunteer stewards who come and help out each year, however, there's always room for more. Stewarding duties include helping set up the festival site, directing visitors to the right camping and car parking areas, checking visitor wristbands, bar work, litter picking around the site, etc. We ask stewards to work for 10 hours over the festival weekend (in different shifts) in return for a free weekend pass and camping. Stewards are also expected to attend a training and orientation session usually held on the Thursday evening before the festival opens.
