Friday Night Showcase
Supporting up-and-coming music acts at the festival, this year our Friday Night Showcase will feature Jimi Kazak, Two Coats Colder, Cat in the Mangle, The Larks and a recent addition, Jacqui and Geoff.
Cat in the Mangle is a Cambridgeshire-based duo who use whistle, bodhran and vocals to deliver self-penned and traditional songs and tunes. http://web.me.com/the.cat/Cat_in_the_Mangle/Welcome.html
Accoustic street guitarist Jimi Kazak plays a mixture of homegrown tunes with elements of blues, jazz and folk.
The Larks hail from Bury St Edmunds and combine spine-tingling vocals and accomplished guitar playing to great effect.
Two Coats Colder deliver traditional folk, well-chosen familiar hits and self-penned gems with great clarity and musicality.
Jacqui and Geoff are a regular feature in and around Cambridge , playing clever songs about life, love and snakes. The band’s first full-length album 'T-shirts with arrogant slogans' was released in Spring 2012..
