After a year of planning, the 27th Ely Folk Festival opens today. A bright and breezy day mostly except for the last few hours when there's been heavy drizzle here in Ely. Despite the changeable weather on Tuesday, all marquees are now erected on the festival site. Ticket sales have been brisk and the Box office is now closed.
